All of this week's projects were fairly easy. I had the most trouble with the movie. I used Storybird, but I couldn't figure out how to upload the video to Youtube or Google drive. The tutorial that we were given was outdated, as the website has been changed since. Luckily I was able to figure out the features and functions myself. I really enjoyed the podcast because I was able to talk about one of my favorite things in business, "The BCG Matrix" (forgive me if I sounded overly excited, it's because I was). I really loved the Edpuzzle website. I never knew it even existed. This is a great great feature to use in the classroom.
When doing a lecture that has a video, I could embed questions, comments, or explanations for the students. Many times students do not pay attention during lectures (I know I know, it's boring... I've been in grade school once and I hate listening to lectures--still do now). But, students tend to listen to lectures if they are interactive. They must be involved in some type of way. It just works better for the students that way.
